With Father’s day around the corner we thought it would be fun to offer something that would guarantee to tug at the hearts of the fathers and grandfathers in your life. All you have to do is show up with your little kiddies at a location of your choice and we will film you and your kids doing an activity. We will talk before hand to arrange a session that is both unique and memorable for you and your family. After the session, a 3-4 minute mini-film will be custom edited to your favorite song. In addition, you will have an online proofing gallery of all still images from the session in which you will then choose your favorite picture to enlarge. The final DVD and 11×14 mounted image will be presented to you gift wrapped and ready to go for Father’s day. Kelii is out of town for a while so I am left home with the kids all day long! My thoughtful sister Enge volunteered to come and stay with us for a night just to keep me company. We had all the ingredients needed for a quick cupcake baking session and a lot of time on our hands. So what started out as what we thought would be a quick hour to make the cupcakes turned out to be a four hour long ordeal. After naps, two meals and several breaks, we were able to finish the task! Whew! If you choose to watch this clip please don’t judge my flawed baking skills and dirty oven! Just warning you!

It was a fun afternoon and the kids loved it. Thanks Enge for this little piece of memory that we can treasure forever. I love watching Kenji and Emi’s faces while they view the clip over and over again. This mini film will be priceless in years to come!

Spring is here and there has been quite a few changes. The biggest change is that the studio is moving to another location. The new location is not very far, in fact, I’m just moving down one floor so I don’t know if it counts as a major move. This will be a good change because the floor plan is much more suited for what I want to do with the studio. Little Wunders Photography website is now live! It’s a good start for now, but I still need to add several other sections. I liked how it turned out especially the wide format pictures for the gallery and home slide show. If you have a chance leave any suggestions or something that you would like me to include and I can work on that in the near future. Check it! You might see some familiar faces! Again, I couldn’t have completed the last bits of my portfolio without the model search kids! Thanks to all the kids and especially the moms who brought them to the studio for that event!

I am booked all the way into October now so if you need family pictures this year, I need to know soon because spots fill up quickly towards the end of the year. Since last year I did not set a dealine for Christmas, I was working into the holdiays.  So I this year I have to set one or else I will go crazy!  I need all appointments to be booked before Dec 1st.   I know that is a little earlier in the month, but this allows me to edit and get christmas cards out to my clients before it gets to be too late.  Sounds good?

What would a post be without a picture?

So I have been working on this project for weeks now and I can finally see the end in sight! I will be introducing my much needed updated version of my website in August. In the meantime, clients can refer to my blog for pricing and session information. After about three years of portfolio building, I finally felt ready to upgrade from my previous site. I could not have done this without the help from all the families in the past who have signed up to do model searches and other portfolio building events. I appreciate all those who gave their time and effort into aiding me in creating great images for my site and studio! Please check back in August to see your beautiful children/family in full screen on my website! Here is a little sample of what the site will look like. *PS-I did a horrible job of taking screen shots of each page on my site. I apologize for that. Just trust me when I say that it will be fabulous!

As far as upcoming events, I was planning on getting out a newsletter this month, but I couldn’t make it in time. I don’t remember pretending to be a superhero as a little child, must be a boy thing. But don’t we all secretly love the idea of being a superhero?
