The kids had so much fun! Everybody here says the best part of the fair is the food. I will have to agree with that. Where else can you get slushy POG, chow fun, kim baap sushi rolls and kim chee all at the same time at the fair?
These days I find myself spending more alone time with Mia. The older kids are gone at school and Mia gets my undivided attention. Lucky!
The first big event when we got here was the Hamai Family Reunion. It was a three day event filled with lots great food and eventful activities. Day two was a full day at the beach. Great times!
After much trial and tribulation we are finally here! Can you believe it’s been almost two months since my last post? Moving sucked all the energy out of me blogging just had to take a back seat for a while. It took a little adjustment, but we are feeling like we are getting back in rhythm with life. We are home.
Here are pictures of Ulua beach down Wailea side of the island. Just because we live in Maui doesn’t mean we go to the beach everyday. Kelii works and I am doing the day to day stuff with the kids so when we do get the time to go it is a real treat!
Don’t worry, this picture was taken in the summer. I just don’t want people to think that I put my half naked child out in the cold for a picture:) It was a cute moment that I didn’t want to miss. I am grateful for 2011 for all the lessons that I’ve had to learn this year. At the same time, I am looking forward to many great things in 2012. Happy New Year everyone!
Pictures taken in October with the Yashica. Some from Immigration and some from American Fork Canyon.
