Mia’s birth story

Tuesday, August 17th, 2010

I just can’t believe just five weeks ago we were in the hospital waiting to meet our little Mia. When I see these pictures, the emotions of the whole birthing process comes rushing back to me. It is an emotional time where at one end you are happy that your pregnancy is coming to an end, but then at the same time a little scared and overwhelmed at what lies ahead of you. I am so happy that I decided to ask Lindsey from Green Apple Photography to document this part of my life. She is a talented film/digital photographer who has a style that I just fell in love with. You can view her current work here and her portfolio here.

I made a slideshow of the whole event here.  Music used with permission by Amy Seeley.

More pictures to come!

Mia is almost 3 weeks old!

This little girl is probably one of the easiest out of all my babies. She has made the transition from 2 to 3 surprisingly easy for me. I guess maybe part of it was that I mentally prepared myself for the worst. Before Mia arrive, most people I’ve talked to said that this transition is probably the hardest. Well, so far so good. Knock on wood:)

This little guy slept through most of the photo shoot! I was so amazed! The hardest part of the shoot was trying to get him to stay up long enough to get some shots with his eyes opened. He is going to be a heartbreaker when he grows up just check out his mom and dad! What a beautiful family! Thanks Kahi and Krysyan for a great session! I really enjoyed seeing you guys again. Congratulations on your new little baby boy!

newborn casting call

Wednesday, February 4th, 2009

original-9682blog1

I have some new props and techniques that I am anxious to try out on newborns this month. I would preferably like to have the newborn less than 10 days old this way they are easier to mold and shape around. The session will be free of charge, but prints and negatives are purchased with a 20% discount. It will be held here at my home based studio in Saratoga Springs. The goal of these sessions will be towards capturing poses that will provide variety to my newborn portfolio. So if you know of anyone who has just had a baby or will within the next few weeks, don’t hesitate to let them know about this great opportunity.

The details:

-Session is free of charge (prints and CD sold with a 20% discount)
-Held at my home studio
-poses are geared towards building my newborn portfolio

The casting call is opened until the end of this month.

Please call me if you are interested: 801.722.4918 or email me at eveline@littlewunders.com
