This little girl is probably one of the easiest out of all my babies. She has made the transition from 2 to 3 surprisingly easy for me. I guess maybe part of it was that I mentally prepared myself for the worst. Before Mia arrive, most people I’ve talked to said that this transition is probably the hardest. Well, so far so good. Knock on wood:)

My favorite age to photograph is about 6-9 month when babies are still a little chubby and they aren’t as mobile yet. I guess you can describe it as the “tripod pose” and the best part is they look so cute doing it!

Wow! I got my pictures back from the lab and I am just so amazed with the results! Thank you Richards Photo Lab for doing such a great job with developing and scanning my film. This was shot on Fuji 400H Pro film and I am so pleased with the color so creamy and buttery. Fuji 400H is know for its beautiful pastel colors and its wonderful grain. Most of these were shot at 400 with overexposing one stop. Then I realized I could shoot at 200 and have an extra stop to overexpose if I choose to. I would love to try Fuji 800Z so that I can shoot it at 400 and overexposed one stop or even more. And the obsession starts with film-I have more to post but right now here is a little fun session with Sawyer. Look at the skin tones-almost close to perfect and didn’t even have to do anything in photoshop. We are going on a trip this week and I can’t wait to shoot more!
