Kamahele + 6 months

This is my favorite baby stage-6 months. They smile at everything you do and the best part is that they stay put! I think the chubbier the better too! I didn’t even tell Kamahele to suck in, but I guess he wanted to look good for his pictures. After all the camera adds 10 pounds! He is such a cutie! I wanted to take him home, but of course his mom didn’t know that:)

Website is up!

Little Wunders Photography website is now live! It’s a good start for now, but I still need to add several other sections. I liked how it turned out especially the wide format pictures for the gallery and home slide show. If you have a chance leave any suggestions or something that you would like me to include and I can work on that in the near future. Check it! You might see some familiar faces! Again, I couldn’t have completed the last bits of my portfolio without the model search kids! Thanks to all the kids and especially the moms who brought them to the studio for that event!

A red car

KENJI_CAR2KENJI-CAR
Kenji is very into wheels these days and I can’t remember a time when we were outside that he is not playing, sitting or pushing his little red Tike. He literally can spend hours sitting in there. Since the car only seats one person, it poses a problem when Emi and Kenji both would like ride it. After much fighting and tears, I think they came to a consensus that they would share it. Right now we are fortunate both of their little bodies can squeeze into that little seat, but give it a few more months and the bickering will start again.

fieldtrip to the gardens

Last week the whole family met up at Thanksgiving point and walked around the gardens. The kids absolutely loved the open space and we enjoyed watching them run out all their energy. Renting a golf car is a must when touring the gardens especially on a hot day around 2 o’clock in the afternoon. Luckily an hour and a half into our visit it became overcast and breezy. The main thing was that we wanted to hang out together and take our grandpa out of his apartment. It was a fun filled afternoon, but most importantly we were able to bond as a family and create great memories from it! Check out the gardens at Thanksgiving point! My favorite is the secret garden. When I grow up I would like to have a backyard like that! And by the way I don’t teach emi how to act sassy and pose like that. She cracks me up. I would like to know where she gets her personality from.

A playdate with cousins

This was an awesome shoot! I photographed Elle, Diesel,Brooklyn and Harrison last year, but this this time they had a cute addition to the family. Finn, who is about 6 months old, was so patient throughout the whole photo shoot. I felt bad for him because he was the only cousin that wasn’t able to run around and play on the big toys. Maybe it was a good thing I only had to chase four little rascals around the playground instead of five. But I must admit, it was really fun to see them play and genuinely be themselves. Who wants stuffy posed pictures of their children anyways? This is how they are every day-capture those real expressions! It was so great to see you guys again-Kim & Courtney! Also, it was a pleasure meeting you and your cute little Finn Becka! Thank you for a great time!

I normally don’t do weddings and bridals, but I wanted to help out a good friend who is this bride’s soon to be sister-in-law. You should check out her work here. The shoot went really well which was at a awesome reception center in Draper. One interesting thing about Teresa is that she is really into pirates. Loves loves loves Pirates of the Caribbean-hence the skull tiara and the dark veil she made herself. There is still an ongoing debate with her fiance of whether or not she should wear the veil and the tiara at the reception. I think it would be kind of a fun! Always love something different. Anyways, Teresa looked absolutely stunning for her bridals and I can’t wait for the wedding at the end of this month! Thanks to Erin, Liz and Tiffany for watching my kids at the last minute! Thank you for being so understanding!
